Our Story

On November 3rd, 2023 we hosted a Gala & Silent Auction at the Cocopah Casino & Resort, a momentous occasion for Campesinos Sin Fronteras. It wasn't just a celebration; it was the official launch of our "Somos Campesinos!" $5 Million Capital Fundraising Campaign.

For years, we've worked tirelessly to improve the lives of farmworker families in South Yuma County. From health and education programs to advocacy work, we've been a constant presence, a source of support, and a voice for those often unheard.

Now, we're taking a significant step forward. We've acquired a 1.25-acre lot in San Luis, Arizona, and we're thrilled to unveil the concept design for our future headquarters.

This stunning building, inspired by hacienda architecture, will be more than just an office. It will be a community center, a place where farmworker history and culture are celebrated, where visitors can learn about the challenges and triumphs of our community, and where future generations of leaders can be inspired.

We envision a space that reflects our values:

  • Community-centered: A hub for our programs, a gathering place for families, and a space that fosters collaboration with other organizations.

  • Sustainable: Environmentally friendly, with a focus on resource efficiency and a commitment to minimizing our impact on the planet.

  • Culturally rich: Showcasing the vibrant art and traditions of our community, with murals by renowned artists like Simon Silva and Liliana Cruz adorning its walls.

We're incredibly grateful for the support of our community, our partners, and our donors. With your help, we will build a headquarters that will serve as a beacon of hope and a testament to the strength and resilience of the farmworker community for generations to come.
